Hildebrand Closes in on Championship with Dominant Win in Sonoma |

Indianapolis, Ind. – August 27, 2009
J.R. Hildebrand, of Sausalito, Calif., took command of the Firestone Indy Lights Championship last weekend with a dominating win from pole position at his home track of Infineon Raceway. Hildebrand all but clinched the title and will head to Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Ill., this weekend with a 90-point advantage, requiring only a 13th-place finish or better at either of the last two races to wrap it up. |
